Our Exclusive Right To The Name Of Jesus · Thursday, June 14th · Pastor Chris

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17).
Pastor ChrisThe legal right to use the Name of Jesus is exclusive to those who are born again; those who are one with the Lord; of the same stock with Him. The power of attorney to make demands in the Name of Jesus belongs to us, for we’re the heirs of salvation. The non-Christians don’t have the right to use the Name of Jesus, except to call on Him for salvation; otherwise, they could get into trouble for using the Name. We find example of such in Acts 19:13-16. The Bible shows us how some Jewish exorcists attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out devils from a man, but were overpowered and badly beaten, such that they fled out of the house naked and bruised all over.
However, Romans 10:13 says, "…whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." An unbeliever could use the Name of Jesus for salvation and be heard; then and then only can he begin to live in, and function by the power of that Name. There’s no doubt that there’s power in the Name of Jesus; but only a bona fide child of God can use that Name to cast out devils, effect changes in negative situations, and enforce God’s will in the earth.
Take advantage of the right you have to use the Name of Jesus; at the mention of that Name every knee bows; in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10). In John 16:24, Jesus said, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." Embrace this open invitation to a life of limitless joy, victory, success and glory by exercising your exclusive right to use the Name of Jesus.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. As I function in, and live by the power of that Name today, miracles are wrought in my life, job, health, family and ministry; and circumstances conform to God’s perfect will for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
