A Life To Enjoy · Saturday, June 16th · Pastor Anita

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).
Pastor AnitaAnyone can live a happy, successful, healthy, prosperous and victorious life; it’s a matter of choice. In the Old Testament, God gave the children of Israel options. He said, "I put before you life and I put before you death." Then He said, "Choose life" (Deuteronomy 30:19); it’s a life to enjoy!
As a child of God, your heavenly Father wants to show off with your life. He wants the world to know and see that it’s possible to live a glorious life, hence He made available to you, all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). He gave you the gift of life, that you might enjoy it to the fullest: "…I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest" (John 10:10 CEV).
In 3 John 1:2, God said, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." God wants to see you live a happy, prosperous and victorious life. He wants your life to be beautiful and exciting, and has done everything necessary to that effect. He has already given you all things, richly to enjoy. Therefore, enjoy your life now! The glorious Christian life is not just for when you get to heaven; it’s for you to enjoy here as well, even in difficult and challenging situations, for in Him you live, and move and have your being (Acts 17:28).
God already proved His love for you by sending Jesus to die for you (John 15:13). If He did that, it means He won’t withhold any good thing from you: "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32).
The silver and the gold, the whole world, and everything in it belong to the Lord; and by extension, they belong to you because you’re His heir. Therefore, refuse to settle for a mediocre life; enjoy your life to the full! All you need do is accept everything God has made available to you in His Word; appropriate them to yourself and watch your life grow in unending success and prosperity.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for making me a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light! I take a hold of the inexhaustible wealth and the glorious life you’ve called me to, and appropriate every blessing in your Word to my life today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
