Continue To Look! · Wednesday, June 13th · Pastor Anita

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Pastor AnitaA mirror reflects the image of any object before it. The Word of God is the mirror of God that reflects your true image; it reveals the real you. You have a responsibility to continue looking into the mirror of God. As you do, the Bible says you’ll be "transformed into the same image." As you continue to discover who you really are in the Word of God, you’ll be transformed into all the Word says about you.
You may not exactly like what you see, each time you look at yourself in your natural mirror at home; but God’s mirror always holds up a glorious image of you! That’s the mirror that counts! It shows you who you are (your identity), what you have (your inheritance), and what you can do (your abilities) in Christ. It shows that you’re beautiful, marvellously and excellently crafted; a success, a victor and more than a conqueror. This is God’s perception of you, and it’s the image you must allow to dwell in your subconscious. Refuse to accept any demeaning or defaming thought, description or perception of your personality.
You’re God’s excellent handiwork and perfect creation; that’s what His mirror shows: "For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship)…" (Ephesians 2:10 AMP). Never appraise or use the negative descriptions and opinions of men to evaluate yourself. What matters is how God sees you.
Others may not see you as the glory of God, but God sees you in a light, which no other person can. He created you, and then gave you an album—His Word—that mirrors all your glorious features and inherent abilities! All you need do is to keep looking into the mirror of God: "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein…this man shall be blessed in his deed" (James 1:25).
Confession
I live in victory, success, health, joy, peace and righteousness because that’s the life God has ordained for me! Through the revelation of God’s Word, I see who I am, and I live according to the picture of me that I see in the Word, in Jesus’ Name.
