God’s Word Always Prevail!

“so the Word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed” (Acts 19:20).

Where is God’s Word in your life? Do you give room for it? Do you leave them in the Bible itself or let them dwell in your heart? Are they look like just a fairy tale happened two thousand years back or are they living testimonies to your life? God’s Word is not just information to us but we are instructed to read, study and meditate them. Although we read the Bible as our daily routine they should be treasured in our hearts as well. We should read it to find treasures in them. If God’s Word is in your heart then surely it will prevail your situation.

In Mat 8:5-13 we read a story about a Centurian whose servant was paralysed and dreadfully tormented. We know this story very well. I would like to emphasize the statement he said to Jesus in verse 8, “…but only SPEAK A WORD, and my servant will be healed.” In other words, what he was trying to tell Jesus is this: “Master You don’t need to come all the way to my house. Your Word is as powerful as You are, equal to Your personal visit to my house! Only speak a Word and that will do! Your Word will prevail the dreadful sickness of my servant and heal him. Because I myself who is under authority as well as a man of authority to command people under me. I understand the power of authority behind the words come to me and my words to those who are under me! I knew that any man in authority who speaks a word of command will come to pass. So Master, speak a Word and my servant will be healed.” This centurian honored God’s Word! Even he believed that the very voice of His Word can travel all the way, enter his house and can touch his servant. He even believed God’s Word will perform the miracle before he reaches his house. He believed the time of healing will be at the same hour! Jesus marveled at his faith and said: “go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that SAME HOUR. Amazing story isn’t it? Just read this story again and again!

We have the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus and speak the spoken Word of God! Do you know we are called to proclaim, decree and prophesy the Word? When we voice God’s Word it is as Jesus has voiced. Do we realize the power of God’s Word? Do we know the power of Him who said it? In Psalm 138:2 says, “I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; FOR YOU HAVE MAGNIFIED YOUR WORD ABOVE ALL YOUR NAME.” God honors those who honors His Word. If God’s Word is in your heart it is sure to prevail your sickness or whatever crisis you may find yourself in. As the centurian said, “only SPEAK A WORD to your sickness or to your problems look like a mountain! Our victory is in the Word. Dare to believe God’s Spoken Word like this centurian. We are just giving VOICE TO THOSE SPOKEN WORDS OF GOD. There are many examples in the Bible. Even these days people of faith take God’s Word so seriously and prevailed! Never, underestimate the promises of God to you. It will perform what it talks about in your life if you don’t give up! Treasure the Word of God in your heart! Meditate them day and night. Faith will rise within you and embolden you to declare and decree that Word in times of trouble! I have experienced the manifesting power of His Word in my life! I believed God’s spoken Word and the manifestation of what it talks about in my situation too! Act on His Word! May you have a wonderful and glorious day!
