Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).
Your life today is the reflection of your words through the years. You set
spiritual forces in motion by words. If you’re not satisfied with how your life
has turned out, neither the devils nor your "enemies" are responsible; but you
can change it. The power to have a fruitful, productive, vibrant, and exciting
life rests on you.
This is a fundamental principle in the Kingdom of God. Even our salvation is
based on words: "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,
and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation" (Romans 10:8-10). To experience salvation, you must declare the
Lordship of Jesus, believing and acknowledging His resurrection and the new life
He’s given you.
Salvation is a word that completely expresses, in a singular term, all what
the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ availed us. Salvation means
you’ve been brought out of failure, debt, sickness, disease and infirmity into
the liberty of the sons of God. Salvation means you’ve been delivered from sin
into the life of righteousness. Your day-to-day confessions must align with
these glorious realities, otherwise the blessings and benefits of salvation will
not be evident in your life.
We rule by words in the Kingdom of God. By your words you’re justified, and
by your words you’re condemned (Matthew 12:37). The words you speak will build
your children, improve your finances, affect your body, and transform your
business. Your words will determine the quality of your life. Therefore, always
speak in consonance with the Word.
When you declared your salvation in Christ, enormous power was released to
bring you out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God. All you had to
do was declare the Lordship of Jesus with your mouth. In the same vein, you
don’t need any extra advantage to be a success in life because the Word of God
already guarantees your success. The Word in your mouth is what you need.
ConfessionThe Word of God has taken centrestage in my life; therefore no matter the circumstances, what I feel or what I see, I’m unperturbed, for my success is guaranteed in the Word in Jesus’ Name. Amen
