And
I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name
great; and thou shalt be a blessing… (Genesis 12:2-3).
If
you’re born again, you’re more than a blessed man or woman: you’re actually the
embodiment of a blessing. The Bible lets us know that the Lord didn’t only
bless Abraham but also made him a blessing: “And I will make of thee a great
nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a
blessing” (Genesis 12:2). However, this didn’t just end with Abraham for the
Bible says “…If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according
to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). To be in Christ means you’re born again, thus
all the blessings God endowed to Abraham are now your present-hour possession.
This is why you’re a bundle of blessings!
If
the people of the world knew what a blessing you are as a Christian, they’d
beat down your doors to get to you. Anybody could receive a miracle from the
Lord just by touching a Spirit-filled Christian. And it makes no difference
whether the Christian was conscious of it or not. After all, the Lord Jesus
wasn’t conscious of the woman with the issue of blood touching Him until she
had done so (Mark 5:28-29). He was Himself a blessing, thus all that anyone
needed to do was touch Him in faith and receive.
No
matter the sickness someone may have for example, he or she could get healed
just by touching a Christian in faith. That’s because the Christian is a divine
package of blessing! The Christian is the temple of the Holy Ghost (1
Corinthians 3:16); that makes him the embodiment of the fullness of the
blessings of God. That’s why it’s a blessing in itself just to meet someone who
belongs to Jesus Christ.
Living
daily with the consciousness that you’re a blessing will eradicate every sense
of need or lack from your life. How could one who is a blessing condescend to
the level of requiring aid? How could one who is a blessing suffer with
sickness? These things ought not to be. Take time today to meditate on the fact
that you’re a divine package of blessing. In you shall all the nations of the
earth be blessed because you’re Abraham’s seed. Hallelujah!
