Walking with the Spirit of Dominion
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).
The Spirit of the Lord is the One Who gives you boldness and the sense of dominion. He enables you take charge of situations, and that means if you’ve received the Holy Spirit to live in you, you’re no longer ordinary; timidity becomes a thing of the past.
The Spirit of God has come into your life to produce the boldness and dominion of God in you, so you can do things that are consistent with God’s will. After the death of Jesus, His disciples had been quietly hiding away from the Jews. But when the Holy Spirit came upon them, every feeling of timidity disappeared, and they began to preach the very same Jesus they were forbidden from even mentioning.
When the Holy Spirit is working in you to fulfil this part of His ministry, you’ll not experience fear or intimidation. You would dominate your environment and take charge of the circumstances of your life. Every time you go out, you ought to declare, “I go with the Spirit of dominion.” As you learn to yield to the Holy Spirit this way, the whole world would suddenly become your playground and you would be truly unstoppable. Hallelujah!
