Exercise Dominion Over Sickness!
“Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27)”.
The Good News Bible translation of the above scripture puts it this way: “Don’t give the devil a chance.” In other words, stop him in his tracks before he starts playing games around you.
Nursing pains and sickness in your body can also give the devil a mighty foothold. That mild headache or stomach pain could be the forerunner of something worse to come – you ought to promptly deal with it by ordering it out of your body because your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Make no mistake about it: if you give the enemy an inch he’ll take a mile.
Before His ascension, the Lord Jesus declared “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14: 30). Hallelujah! What a confession! That’s another way of saying “Satan has nothing to his advantage in me.” Sickness can give the enemy an advantage in a person’s life. Stand in front of the mirror everyday and declare in faith: “Satan hath nothing in me! Sickness has no part in my body! The health of God is at work in my body!” Declare it by faith in the Word of God because that’s the reality. Hallelujah!
