Don’t Ignore Wisdom · Saturday, August 18th · Pastor Anita

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom…(Proverbs 4:7).

Pastor Anita
You might want to ask, "Why is the world so full of failures?" "Why do many struggle through life?" "Why do some become wealthy only to end up in poverty?" "Why are there many whose fantastic dreams never materialize?" The answer to these is simple: it’s because they’ve ignored the Word of God, and the Word of God is the wisdom of God.
There’re people all over the world who depend solely on the government because they think their prosperity is predicated on the economy of the country where they live. However, life is not that way. Your success isn’t in any government, country of residence or profession. Your success in life is predicated on one thing: the wisdom of God. Wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7); it’s the capital you require for any venture in life.
The wisdom of God is excellent wisdom; it directs profitably in all things. It provides you with insight into reality. It gives you foresight in all manner of learning and ability to unravel mysteries and difficulties. It was the wisdom of God that made Daniel a divine cynosure in Babylon (Daniel 5:12). This same wisdom gave Solomon the distinguishing edge that made him the wisest man that ever lived on earth, until Jesus.
As a young man, who just ascended the throne, God asked Solomon to make a demand on Him and he chose wisdom in place of other things. David, his father, had taught him that Wisdom was never to be ignored; being the key to lasting success and prosperity (Proverbs 4:3-5).
The Bible says all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ (Colossians 2:3). As a Christian, you have access to divine wisdom because you’re a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). Today, wisdom is still crying out, and I urge you not to ignore His voice. You hear Him every time you study the Scriptures, read this devotional or any other Spirit-inspired material. Give the utmost attention and highest priority to the Word of God in your life.
Confession
I function today with supernatural amplitude of comprehension; dealing circumspectly in all the affairs of life, because the wisdom of God is in my heart and in my mouth! Blessed be God!
