There’s More For You · Friday, June 1st · by Pastor Anita

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).
Pastor AnitaChristianity is a beautiful life of ever-increasing glory. Everything just keeps getting better and better. Where you start and how you start, really don’t matter; but as you walk with the Lord and get more acquainted with Him through fellowship, you’re transformed from glory to glory. There’s always something better for you; a greater and higher level of success to aspire to. Therefore, refuse the status quo and press on in victory.
It doesn’t matter how glorious your journey of faith has been; there’s always something better for you in Christ. All you need do is open the eyes of your spirit to see the greater glory that lies ahead. This is where fellowship with the Word and the Holy Spirit is indispensable. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:12, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." The more you spend time with the Lord through His Word, and fellowship with His Spirit, the more you discover new realities about your inheritance in Christ.
The reason many Christians suffer and struggle is that they’re unaware God has something better for them. For example, Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, in John 4:10: "…If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water." Prior to that time, everything the woman had, including the water she came to fetch at the well, provided only temporary satisfaction. She didn’t know something better existed until she met Jesus and He introduced her to the living water of life.
When you come to Christ, He shows you and gives you something better than what you already had. Today, it doesn’t matter where you are financially, academically or spiritually, there’s more for you in Christ.
Confession
Dear Father, I thank you for showing me through the Holy Ghost, the glorious life that you’ve brought me to and the greater glories that lie ahead. I thank you for giving me the wisdom to know and appropriate your Kingdom blessings into my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
