Born To Be Fruitful And Productive · Sunday, May 27th · Pastor Anita

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:1-3).
Pastor AnitaThe scripture above is referring to you that are born again; you’re like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in and out of season; you’re born to be fruitful and productive. Anything you do; whatever is connected to you, will of neccessity prosper because you’re born of God; His productivity genes are inherent in you. What a blessing this is! You’ve been ordained to prosper, experience divine health, succeed and excel in every area of your life.
But this is not so for the unregenerate man; the one who’s not born again. He’s likened to the chaff that’s blown away by the wind, whose ways end in destruction; the reason we must keep preaching the Gospel to the unsaved. Theirs is a pathetic situation of hopelessness and despair; they’re tossed to and fro by the winds of adversity because their foundation is not in God. Ephesians 2:12 further describes their dismal state: "…being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world."
But glory to God, the one who’s born again is like mount Zion and has been established to be prosperous, fruitful and productive. Christ Jesus has become the Rock of your salvation as well as your success, prosperity and divine health. Therefore, you’ll forever remain unshakeable in the face of adversity and opposition, for you’ve been translated out of defeat and death, and established to experience eternal glory, victory, peace and joy. You’ve been established to be fruitful and productive, and to shine daily for Christ.
Prayer
Dear Father, as I delight myself in you, my life blossoms in ever-increasing measure; I’m excelling and prospering in all endeavours because I’ve made your Word my foundation and meditation! Thank you for the glory, peace and joy that you’ve brought into my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
