The Life Which Gives Light!

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world” (John 1:4, 5 and 9).

My heart is overwhelmed with joy because of the Life which gave me light when I was in darkness. It is Christmas! We celebrate the unforgettable event took place 2000 years back! Today! He Lives in us! The Life which gave us the Light – JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! JESUS is the Word, The True Life, and The True Light, which gives light to every man coming into the world. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory! Of His fullness we have all received GRACE for GRACE. Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ the Son of God!

We have the Light in us! Christ in us is the hope of Glory! Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” (Mat 5:14). We are now the light to our world! We may not able to give light to the whole world but wherever we are is our world where we can shine and give light. Paul wrote in 2 Cor 4:6, “for it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” It is God’s will for all to come to the knowledge of the Truth and be saved. So let us shine the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.

We have the Light in us! Jesus said: “let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your GOOD WORKS and glorify Your Father in heaven” (Mat 5:16). Let our lights give hope to the hopeless and comfort those who are hurting. Extend your heart to those in need and bless them. John wrote in his book 1 John 3:18, “My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”

May this season remind each one of us THAT WE ARE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE, GREATLY LOVED AND HIGHLY FAVORED BY GOD! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, WHATEVER YOUR SITUATION IS; YOU ARE A BLESSING TO YOUR WORLD! We are under GRACE (UNMERITED FAVOR)!

I wish all my VoiceGodsWord readers a wonderful Christmas!

In Him (Out of His fullness and abundance),
Remila Mathew
