God's Word Has Inherent Power

God’s Word Has Inherent Power

Isa 55:11 (Amp)

“So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me without producing any effect, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
In Mark 4:26-28 Jesus said “The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed upon the ground.  And then continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed sprouts and grows and increases – he knows not how. The earth produces by itself – first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.” Anything has life will grow!  But before anything to grow you have to sow! So God’s Word and it will produce!

God’s Word has inherent power to produce and effect changes in and around you.  It accomplishes the purpose of God in your life if you don’t give up.  It will produce the result it talks about in your life. For example if you believe what God’s Word says in Phil 4:13 – “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, and start to personalize it like this : I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me, infuses inner strength into me: I am self-sufficient in CHRIST’s sufficiency” then you will experience His divine power working in your life.

We activate this inherent power of this Word by believing it first, and then act on it by confessing with our mouth.  Merely believing God is not going to help because even demons believe there is one God and tremble (Jam 2:19)!  Believing is not faith! Believing and Faith are different! Believing is the stage of your spirit but faith possesses. Heb 11:1 “Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Once faith arises in you, you will see the reality of it. Moreover, Faith always works! With faith anything is possible! If it didn’t work means you are not in faith.  Unbelief on the other hand short-circuits the power of God.

Jesus said in John 15:7 (Amplified version) “if you live in Me (abide vitally united to Me) and My Words remain in you and CONTINUE to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” So keep meditating God’s Word and feed your spirit man.  For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17). Let God’s Word live in your hearts. And be patient! While waiting let your mind stay in God’s Word! Keep saying it, keep confessing it and declaring in your situation. In the book of James 5:7 says:  “so be patient, brethren, till the coming of the Lord.  See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land, he keeps up his patient over it until it receives the early and late rains.” Amen.
