And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever (2 Corinthians 9:8-9).
Your relevance to the spread of
the Gospel of Christ is one of the major reasons God channels prosperity your
way. The Bible says there’s more joy in heaven over a sinner that repents than
over ninety-nine saints that need no repentance (Luke 15:7). This is about the
only time we’re informed in Scripture of something that causes rejoicing
amongst the angels in heaven: soul-winning. This lets you know how important
soul-winning is.
Winning souls into God’s Kingdom
must be the compelling motive in everything you do. As an entrepreneur, a
politician, a teacher, a banker, a business executive, a student, etc., as long
as your personal drive and motivation is the expansion of God’s Kingdom, you’ll
live a meaningful and fulfilled life.
Your involvement in soul-winning
attracts more grace and prosperity to your life. It causes the wisdom of God to
function in you in an unusual way. Furthermore, the Lord sees to your
protection when you’re relevant in taking the Gospel to the nations of the
earth. Our opening verse says God is able to make all grace abound towards you,
such that having all sufficiency in all things, you’ll abound to every good
work. When you’re involved in the spread of the Gospel, the grace of God is
increased in your life to achieve more. James 4:6 says, "He giveth more
grace…" So don’t relent at any opportunity to promote the Gospel.
Prayer Dear Father, through my involvement in
the Kingdom, the saving power of Christ permeates the earth. I’m a distributor
of divine verities, relevant to Kingdom expansion. T h e r e f o r e , y o u r
g r a c e continually abounds towards me to be more relevant in the propagation
of the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
