RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTION
By Pastor Christ Oyakilome
When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this
fruit, I will come by you into Spain. And I am sure that, when I come unto you,
I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ (Romans
15:28-29).
Years ago, as I studied the words
of the Apostle Paul in our opening scripture, I was elated that it’s possible
for one to have the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ. This
wasn’t only for Paul and the rest of the Apostles, but for all of us
Christians: it’s possible to walk in the fullness of the blessings of the
Gospel. What does this mean? It means to walk in the fullness of your inheritance
in Christ.
No wonder the Apostle Paul made
bold to say, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me" (Philippians 4:13). In Galatians 2:20-21, he said, "I am
crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of
God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of
God…" (Galatians 2:20-21).
Walking in the fullness of the
blessings of Christ is possible in this earth. As you walk in oneness with the
Holy Spirit, you’ll discover that life is easy and stressless, and free from
every form of frustration. Nothing in this earth can frustrate me, because
I walk in the light of the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel of Christ. I
can’t be overcome; I’m an overcomer, because Christ is in me. This should be
your meditation as well.
Live in the fullness of your
inheritance in Christ. Christ has died; He’s risen from the dead; He’s won the
battle for you already; there’s no need to struggle for anything anymore. 1
Peter 1:11 talks about the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should
follow. Live in the victory and glory of Christ. You’re a victor for life.
Blessed be God!
Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I
thank you for the revelation of your Word to me today. I walk in the fullness
of the blessings of the Gospel of Christ, and in the glory of my inheritance in
Him. I’m an overcomer, because the greater One lives in me. Amen.
