Pastor Chris
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

However, in spite of this truth, there’re still many who believe it’s normal for a Christian to be sick; but that’s completely at variance with what the Word teaches. In Mark 16:17-18, the Lord Jesus said concerning the Christian, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Could it get better than this?
Notice the underlined words. He said if they (the Christians—the believing ones) drink any deadly thing they’d not be hurt! You’re not amongst those that can be "infected" by anything! Jesus said so, and if He did, then it’s absolute reality. No infection should have power over you. It makes no difference if this hasn’t been your experience, the words of the Master hold true. Meditate on the Word until it becomes your mind-set and experience.
You’re "peculiar"; that means unique; one of a kind. James 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." Being the "firstfruit" of His creatures means you’re the first and the best of all that God created; you’re topmost and first-class all the way; you’re His glory. He didn’t create you to be subject to the devil, sickness, disease, infirmities, pain and depravity; He made you superior to Satan! He created you for glory, beauty, and excellence; therefore, refuse to accommodate anything that’s inconsistent with His nature in your life.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me your life and nature—a life of glory, dominion and excellence; free of sickness, disease and infirmities. Nothing shall by any means hurt me because my body is sanctified and preserved from all evil. I walk in the reality of this truth today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
