Pastor Chris
Then
said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so
send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto
them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted
unto them; and whosoever sins ye retain, they are retained (John 20:21-23).
In the verses above
you’d notice that the Lord Jesus, after He had breathed on His disciples to
receive the Holy Spirit, immediately said to them, "Whosoever sins ye
remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are
retained." Therefore, as a believer, you’ve become a dispenser of His
goodness: His mercy, grace, and love. Your ministry, hence responsibility, is
to manifest His will, and reveal His character and purpose in the earth.
Remember, you’re an
associate of the God-kind, and in partnership with the Lord; and now He’s given
you the authority to forgive sins. In Mark 2:10, Jesus told the Jews that He,
the Son of man, had power on earth to forgive sins. He’s given us the same
authority that He had to dispense good things.
We can pronounce healing
and other blessings on and for others, in the Name of Jesus, the same way we
pronounce forgiveness. He has sent us as bearers of His Gospel, to unveil the
Father’s heart of love and compassion to the nations of the world; such a high
calling!
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you
for making me the dispenser of your goodness to my world. I am the extension,
and manifestation of your grace, love, and compassion to all those I come in
contact with today, having made me an able minister of the Gospel, not of the
letter, but of the Spirit that gives life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
