…As it is written, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
There are forces that operate in the world that cause people to do the things
they do. Hate, fear, unbelief, doubt, discouragement, envy, and jealousy are all
negative and destructive forces that influence people to act wrongly. Some of
the most heinous atrocities carried out by men were motivated by envy, jealousy,
fear, and lust.
Correspondingly, in the Kingdom of God, there’re forces too, such as faith,
righteousness, love, and wisdom. Our study today, however, is on the force of
faith. Until you understand faith as a force, you may never be able to grow
prevailing faith. Just as negative forces make men do daring but negative
things, the force of faith has caused men to achieve great exploits for the
Kingdom.
Hebrews 11 gives us an inspiring chronicle of men and women who obtained a
good report through faith, such as Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Rahab, Gideon,
and David. Through faith, they subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouth of lions, quenched the violence of fire, and more
(Read Hebrews 11:33-38).
This ability is not exclusive to some "special people" in the Kingdom of God,
but to all God’s children. God has dealt to every one of us the measure of faith
(Romans 12:3). Grow your faith. Increase the force field of your faith through
the Word. Don’t talk fear, talk faith! Voice the Word, not your situation, and
your faith will rise like a giant, dispelling fear and negativity from your
life.
Speak the Word; concretize it with prayer, and you’ll experience a greater
influence of the force of faith in your life.Confession
My faith is active and
prevails today. The favour of God overshadows me, and His protection mantles my
heart against the wiles and darts of the devil, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
