Pastor Chris
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… (Hosea 4:6).
Too many people in the world suffer for nothing; and the reason for their
protracted suffering is ignorance. They’re not aware that they don’t have to
suffer. Some think they have to suffer because of the country where they live,
their lack of education, or because of their family background. If only they
knew that none of these factors should control the circumstances of their
existence!
In John 15:19 Jesus said, "…ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you
out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." That means you’ve been
handpicked out of the world; you’ve been selected out of this world where
there’s pain, misery, hardship and turmoil, and translated into God’s Kingdom,
where there’s rest, peace, joy and prosperity. This is the spiritual reality of
your life in the mind of God.
God chose you for a life of glory, honour, dignity and excellence: "According
as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue"
(2 Peter 1:3). You don’t have to struggle for anything in life; you’ve been
brought into glory, honour, dignity and excellence. This is your calling. The
day you became a Christian, you accepted that call; you endorsed the call to an
extraordinary life of success, victory, honour, dignity and excellence. Your
experience of life ought to be consistent with these realities.
This is the reason you must study and follow the Word to acquire knowledge of
who you are, and what belongs to you in Christ Jesus, and function accordingly.
Otherwise, your life will be at variance with the life of glory, honour, dignity
and excellence that you’ve been called to. It makes no difference the challenges
you might be facing, the glory of God is going to be manifested in that
situation because you’re called to glory and virtue. Live confidently today with
this consciousness that you’re not created for failure; rather, you’re the
manifestation of the glory of God!
Prayer
Dear Father, my life
today is the manifestation of your greatness and your glory that’s in my spirit.
I greatly rejoice and thank you for calling me to a life of glory, honour,
dignity and excellence. I function from a position of victory and rest,
unperturbed by the negative circumstances of life because all things are mine,
in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
