Favour His Righteous Cause · Wednesday, May 2nd by Pastor Chris

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause…(Psalm 35:27).
Pastor ChrisJesus said in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Soul winning is topmost in God’s heart. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that the Lord is unwilling that any person should perish, but that all should come to repentance. He’s so passionate about saving the souls of men that He sent Jesus to die for all men. The Lord’s righteous cause is that all men would come to the knowledge of His grace and love in Christ Jesus.
As a Christian, you must vibrantly be about this great cause. You must be totally committed to propagating the message of salvation to those in your sphere of contact and regions beyond. Proverbs 11:30 says, "he that winneth souls is wise." Also, Daniel 12:3 says, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." When you favour God’s righteous cause not only will the wisdom of God function in you in an unusual measure, your life will be radiant with God’s glory.
Proverbs 14:35 says, "The king’s favour is toward a wise servant…." Being fervent in soul winning will attract the Lord’s blessings and prosperity to your life; you can never be disadvantaged for favouring His righteous cause. No wonder the Lord said, "Let them shout for joy and be glad, that favour my righteous cause"; He takes special care of soul winners.
Realize that you’re the preacher in your world; your home, office, class or neighbourhood. God has anointed you to deliver men from bondage into the glorious liberty of the sons of God; therefore passionately be about your heavenly Father’s business of turning men and women to righteousness! Talk to somebody about Jesus today!
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and opportunity to minister your Word with power to those in my world today. This is what I live for; favouring your righteous cause by making manifest the savour of your knowledge in every place. I thank you for the great grace you’ve granted me to be effective in the ministry of the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
