Have a Good Year!
May the Lord keep you challenged to walk closer to Him this year, listening to His voice, responding to His every call. May you never be satisfied with the status quo. May you be much more than a cultural Christian. May the Lord keep you from a critical spirit as you passionately pursue Him, walking in kindness and gentleness toward others who do not yet share your passion.
May He ignite a holy fire within you that will never be extinguished. May He give you such hunger and thirst to walk with Him that you yearn for the time to spend quality time with Him - even if it means getting up in the middle of the night. And when you do take this time to be with Him, may you be caught up in His Presence, filled with His desires and empowered to walk in His ways.
May the Lord cleanse every corner of your heart and remove anything that would hinder intimacy with Him. May there be not even a hint or shadow of ungodliness or unforgiveness that finds shelter within you.
May He make you alert to temptation so that you freely confess lust, greed, pride, selfishness, jealousy, gossip, or any other sin, large or small, that He finds within you.
May this never bring a shadow of guilt over you, but rather free you to become all that He intended for your destiny in Him.
