And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing... (Genesis 12:2).
The Lord has called you to be a blessing to others; to be a lifter of others. Being born again, not only are you blessed, you’re also a blessing (1 Peter 3:9); God has placed something inside you, with which to bless your world. He’s given you an extraordinary life; all you need is self-discovery. Discover the gifting and supernatural abilities of God deposited in you. Like the Apostle Paul instructed Timothy, "...stir up the gift of God, which is in thee..." (2 Timothy 1:6).
Recognize that you’re different; you’re not the needy, seeking help; you’re already favoured of the Lord! Your confession should always be, "I’m marvelously helped and favoured of the Lord!" Don’t be the one crying or begging for anything; you’re a child of God and not at the mercy of anyone.
The Spirit of the Lord lives in you, and the Bible declares that all things are yours: "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours" (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). Everything you require for life and godliness is already granted you in Christ Jesus: "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3).
You’re a blessing and also a blesser of men. This is who you are. Get acquainted with, and conscious of this reality.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for the entrance of your Word that has brought light into my spirit, showing me who I am and the abilities you’ve deposited in me with which to change my world. I bring joy and gladness to everyone I meet today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
